Alhambra

Alhambra (Arabic: Al-Hamra الحمراء = '; means "red") is the name of a palace complex at the same time a magnificent castle of the Caliphate of Bani ummayyah in Granada, southern Spain (known as Al-Andalus when the fortress was founded), which covers an area of hills in the border city of Granada. This palace was built as the residence along with the magnifying caliph.
