Acropolis is a place of historical relics in Greece. The most famous places like the Acropolis of Athens, on the grounds of several famous in the history of the buildings built on it. Although originating from mainland Greece, the Acropolis with the use of the model quickly spread to the Greek colonies such as Dorian Lato in Crete during the archaic period.
