Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. This waterfall is located on the Zambezi River, which currently forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. This waterfall has a width of approximately one mile (1.6 km), with an altitude of 128m (420 feet).
David Livingstone, Scottish explorer, visited this lake in 1855 and named in the name of Queen Victoria, were known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, "thundering smoke." Waterfalls are part of two national parks, Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia and Victoria Falls National Park in Zimbabwe, and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These waterfalls are major attractions in South Africa.
