Great Barrier Reef

Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest collection of coral reefs that consist of approximately 3000 reefs and 900 islands, which stretches across 2,600 km. The reef is located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland in northeast Australia. Most of these coral areas, including parts that are protected by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park (Great Barrier Reef Marine Park).

Great Barrier Reef (CDE) can be seen from outer space and is sometimes referred to as the single largest organism in the world. In fact, it was formed from millions of tiny organisms, known as coral polyps (coral polyp). CDE was chosen as one of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.
Biodiversity richness, warm and clear waters, and the affordability of a floating facility called Live-aboards, making these reefs become a very popular tourist destination, especially for scuba divers. Many towns along the Queensland coast which offer tours to the coral sea this every day. Several continental islands have also changed the function as a resort.
